About Us
OC Special Spokes is a charitable organization established in 2014. We are a chapter of the National AMBUCS organization. Our mission is to provide affordable adaptive tricycles to individuals with special needs through fundraising and community events. Our vision is to provide mobility for children that will allow them to better engage in their community and have fun with their family and peers.
Children with:
Neurologic involvement such as cerebral palsy, spinda bifida, or TBI
Decreased coordination, balance, strength, and/or flexibility
Decreased safety awareness
What types of children might benefit from an adaptive tricycle?
As a chapter of AMBUCS, we receive AmTryke® tricycles at a discounted price
Members include volunteer physical and occupational therapists that perform Bike Evaluations
Volunteers: anyone is welcome!
We assist families who might need help raising funds for their child’s tricycle
